Come, see where his body was lying. And now, go quickly and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead and he is going ahead of you to Galilee. You will see him there. Remember what I have told you.” Matthew 28,5-7

So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy and ran to tell his disciples. Suddenly Jesus met them. “Greetings,” he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said, “Don’t be afraid! Tell my followers to go to Galilee. They will see me there.” Matthew 28,8-10
“Look at my hands and my feet and see that it's really me. Touch me, and see for yourselves. Ghosts don’t have flesh and bones, but you can see that I do.” Luke 24,39
That Sunday evening the disciples were meeting behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jewish leaders. Suddenly Jesus was standing there among them! “Peace be with you.” he said.
Jesus told him, “You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me.” John 20,29
Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. Matthew 28,16

I’d like to share with you why I think Christianity is such a great religion. In this life you being a Christian is good for other people and it is good for you.
A person who lives to 70 has a life of 613,200 hours. Christianity promises that the next life will be in ideal surroundings with friendly, worry-free people. There will be perfect health and no crime. People will treat each other with love and respect. Of course, if that lifestyle doesn’t appeal to you you’re free to reject it.
Isn’t it worth, though, spending at least part of one of your 613,200 hours just checking it out. Then if you reject it, at least you’ll have made an informed decision. Is it just possible that your world view could be wrong and Christianity might actually be true? Where would that leave you if you choose to turn down the offer of eternal life in heaven?
There are two options - to spend eternity where Christian values always apply, or eternity where Christian values never apply. Decisions, decisions!
