What Faith Is

Man says, Show me and I’ll trust you.

God says, Trust me and I’ll show you.

While on holiday in a foreign country children trust their parents to bring them home safely. Children instinctively have faith in their parents. There is no shame in that.

Some people say that faith is believing in something without proof, while Christians see it as quietly trusting our Father because He fully understands the situation.

Just as there is no shame in children having faith in their earthly father, there is no shame in us having faith in our heavenly Father. He has our best interests at heart. That’s why we trust Him.
