Polish - polski
Polish uses an amazing selection of accents, hooks, dots, clusters of letters and a bar across the letter "l" to supplement the Roman alphabet in order to express all the sounds of this West Slavonic language. This, combined with a complicated grammar, means that Polish is not a language which can be learnt in a hurry.

Bóg bowiem tak bardzo ukochał świat, że dał swego Jedynego Syna, aby każdy, kto w Niego wierzy, nie zginął, ale miał życie wieczne.
For God loved the world so much that he gave his only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3,16
9. Ojcze nasz,
który jesteś w niebie,
Niech świętość otacza Twe imię.
10. Niech Twoje Królestwo nastanie
i Twoja wola ziemią zawładnie
tak, jak włada niebem.
11. Prosimy Ciebie, daj nam dziś
naszego codziennego chleba.
12. I przebacz winy
tak jak my
wobec nas winnym,
przebaczyliśmy.
13. Bądź przy nas także w chwili próby,
aby zachować nas od złego,
9 Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
10 your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us today our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
as we also have forgiven our debtors.
13 And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one.
Matthew 6
