Armenian - hayeren (Western and Eastern)



Armenian forms a separate branch of the Indo-European language tree. It shows similarities to the languages of North India and to those of Europe. Armenian has two official forms, Western and Eastern. Both are given here, with Western on the left. The language has a long written history dating back to the 5th century A.D.
