Monégasque - munegascu
Monégasque is the traditional national language of Monaco, the second smallest country in the world after the Vatican. French and Italian are the languages of business and commerce. As Monaco is on the coast at the south of France it might be thought that Monégasque would be an Occitan dialect, like the other dialects of the south of France. In fact it is an extension of the Ligurian language spoken in Italy.
