Friulian - furlan


Friulian, or Friulan, is the easternmost of the Rhaeto-Romance languages which are spoken in the Alps of Switzerland and north Italy. It has the most speakers of the language group (600,000 compared with 60,000 for Romansch and 40,000 for Ladin).
