Francoprovençal - arpitan


Francoprovençal is the name given to the group of varied dialects of eastern France, western Switzerland and north-western Italy where French and Occitan merge. They are spoken in the regions of Neuchâtel, Lausanne and Geneva in Switzerland, Aosta in Italy, and Annecy, Chambéry, Grenoble, Lyon and St-Étienne in France.
