Breton of Vannes - brehoneg

Speakers of Breton from western Brittany find the Breton of the south east, around the town of Vannes, difficult to understand. One of the most obvious differences is that where French influence has resulted in "th" becoming "z" in the west, in the south east it has become "h", e.g. brezhoneg (standard), brezoneg (western dialects), brehoneg (Vannes dialect) (= Breton language).
