Health and happiness go hand in hand: it is not easy to feel on top of the world when you have a bad cold, for instance, or much more serious concerns about your body. You can feel anything from mildly depressed to scared out of your wits.
It's good that we live in times when many horrible illnesses can be successfully treated, thanks to dedicated doctors and surgeons in modern hospitals. We also have the "power of prayer". We can talk to God the Father about our own health worries or those of a loved one. The Great Physician can do amazing things. In a little group of friends, ask Him for this divine help. Matthew chapter 18 verse 20 says "where two or three come together in my name, I am there with them" - that's the Lord's promise.
We can also help ourselves each day by having a cheerful demeanour. Read Proverbs chapter 17 verse 22 and chapter 18 verse 14. In addition, getting out and taking exercise in the fresh air has been proved to make you feel better mentally, as well as being able to enjoy nature and "the great outdoors" that God has made for you.
St.Paul had a "thorn in the flesh", presumably some chronic complaint, we don't know what, but he was able to accomplish a huge amount of good for Christianity, through the grace of God.
