The Bible

[Referring to Himself as the King, Jesus said] "He will separate the people one from
another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep
on his right and the goats on his left.

Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my
Father, inherit the Kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. When
I was hungry, you gave me something to eat, and when I was thirsty, you gave me
something to drink. When I was a stranger, you welcomed me, and when I was
naked, you gave me clothes to wear. When I was sick, you took care of me, and
when I was in jail, you visited me.'

Then the ones who pleased the Lord will ask, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry
and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you
a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see
you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

And the King will answer them, 'I assure you, whenever you did it for any of my
people, no matter how unimportant they seemed, you did it for me.' "
