God's Gender

The Bible

God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created
them; male and female he created them.
Genesis 1,27

God created men and women equal, both in His own image. God
is called "He" for convenience, not because of masculinity.

The Bible

The people of Zion said, "The LORD has turned away and forgotten
us."

The LORD answered, "Could a mother forget a child who nurses
at her breast? Could she fail to love an infant who came from her own
body? Even if a mother could forget, I will never forget you."
Isaiah 49,14-15
