Becoming a Christian

believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.

John 3,16

The Bible

[Jesus said] "Everyone who acknowledges me publicly here on
earth, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven."

God brought him back to life, you will be saved.

Romans 10,9

The Bible

that the LORD gives us.

Numbers 10,32

The Bible

The LORD will take delight in you, and in his love he will give you new life.

Zephaniah 3,17

The Bible

Turn to me now and be saved, people all over the world!
I am the only God there is.

Isaiah 45,22

The Bible

One of the criminals who had been crucified beside him was
hurling abuse at Him, saying, "Aren’t you the Christ? Save
yourself and us!"

But the other criminal protested, "Don’t you fear God even when
you have been sentenced to die? We deserve to die for our crimes,
but this man hasn’t done anything wrong. Then he said to Jesus,
"Remember me, Jesus, when you come as King!"

Jesus said to him, "I promise you that today you will be with me
in Paradise."

Luke 23,39-43

It is never too late to turn to Jesus and be saved. The criminal
respected God, he repented of his sins, he believed in Jesus
and he declared his faith openly. He didn't belong to any
particular church, he wasn't a respected member of society
and he probably hadn't been baptized. Jesus didn't
hesitate to welcome him to heaven.
