Nouns

Nouns have two genders, masculine and feminine.

ki      dog (masc.)
Singular
nom.      an ki      the dog
Plural
nom.      an keun      the dogs

kath      cat (fem.)
Singular
nom.      an gath      the cat
Plural
nom.      an kathes      the cats

Verbs

The verb bos, "to be", is used in two versions. If position is indicated, e.g. he is in the garden, or if it is used with a verbal noun, e.g. he is writing, the first version is used. If a noun is used, e.g. he is a doctor, or if an adjective is used, e.g. he is cold, the second version is used.

Adjectives have two genders, masculine and feminine and are usually placed after the noun.
